Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential aspirant of NNPC, has made his intentions known concerning Peter Obi’s Vice Presidential offer.
Kwankwaso rejected Obi’s offer because it will be detrimental to his party.
However, Kwankwaso has encouraged Peter Obi to join him in his party to be his running mate.
He said that if Peter Obi becomes his running mate, the Southeast will have a bright future of getting the so acclaimed Igbo presidency.
On Saturday, Kwankwaso declared that Peter won’t win unless he joins him (Kwankwaso) as his running mate in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.
From the time of publishing this brief info, Peter Obi is yet to respond to the NNPC presidential aspirant.
The truth is that Peter Obi will have 3 great political juggernauts to contend with in the 2023 election.
If Kwankwaso had accepted the offer, it would have been easy to win the election but unfortunately, Kwankwaso had maintained his ground on running for the Presidency in 2023.
He is not ready to Vice any person and he instead encouraged Peter Obi to be his running mate.
Kwankwaso is not ready to lose a political party he has built for the past 27 years to the office of Vice President.
He believes that he has achieved more in the Nigerian political hemisphere than Peter Obi.
This is why he wants Peter Obi to be his running mate instead of the other way round.
