As the official date for the court hearing of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case draws nearer, South East lawyers have agreed to appear in hundreds at the court premises in solidarity with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Since the 9th of August that sit at home order was issued by the leadership of IPOB, our people have not stopped sitting at home till the time of publishing this post.

The lawyers through a press release signed by its coordinator, VC Onwerenmadu and secretary, Felix Jonathan said that the federal government must present Kanu in court on the adjourned day of his court hearing.

Irrespective of the fact that the freedom fighters lifted the ban, the Igboland has remained locked every Monday still in protest for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Nnamdi Kanu is one person that everyone wants to hear his voice. The silence of Nnamdi Kanu will spell great doom for Nigeria.

The lawyers of the Southeast extraction have warned armed forces to stay off the homes of people as they unanimously agreed to stay at home as a way of protesting for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The Nigerian government shot itself in the foot when they kidnapped Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya and brought him back to Nigeria.

The UK being the home country of Nnamdi Kanu through nationalisation has remained adamant ever since their citizen was extraordinarily renditioned to a foreign land.

Nnamdi Kanu denied his Nigerian citizenship a long time ago and when he was kidnapped, what was found on him was a British passport and not a Nigerian passport.

Because of Britain’s interest in Nigeria’s source of wealth, they have refused to sanction Nigeria for kidnapping her citizen.

The Prime Minister went ahead to invite President Muhammadu Buhari (Nigeria) and President Uhuru Kenyatta (Kenya) to an economic development meeting.

Buhari and Kenyatta were the chief culprits to the kidnap of Nnamdi Kanu who is a British citizen and yet Britain invited them to offer them help in whatever way possible.

This act alone is evidence that Britain had a hand in the abduction of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The silence of Britain over the rearrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has aided in the issue of insecurity in Southeast Nigeria.

Kidnapping Mazi Nnamdi Kanu sparked an increase in the destruction of lives and properties in the state.

Imagine a situation where Nnamdi Kanu was murdered during the time he was kidnapped. That will mean hell for Nigeria.

Kidnapping and returning Kanu to Nigeria and making it known to the public was the biggest mistake the Nigerian government made.

To be in a safer place and to continuously make this part of Africa inhabitable, the Nigerian government is advised to release Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally and listen to what he is agitating for.

Igbo lawyers have marched in protest to declare their interest in supporting Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on the 21st of October 2021 which of course is the official adjourned court day after DSS refused to bring him to court on the first day.

Despite the silence of Britain and other world leaders, Nnamdi Kanu will regain his freedom and at the end of the day, Biafra shall be free.
