We will cut off your ear if found enforcing Monday Sit at home, IPOB leadership warns hoodlums enforcing the already cancelled Monday sit at home order.

The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has warned against those hoodlums enforcing Monday sit at home.

The highest decision-making body of IPOB declared in July that starting from the 9th of August the whole of Biafraland will be on total lockdown every Monday.

They cancelled the Sit at home order after a counter order was given by the supreme leader of the group, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

IPOB came on air to announce the cancellation of the proposed sit at home citing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as the source.

However, people of the old Eastern Nigeria (Biafra) decided to continue sitting at home until their leader is released.

According to them, they can’t tell the situation of the health of their leader. For that reason, they will continue sitting at home until their leader is released from the DSS dungeon.

On Monday, the 13th of September, some hoodlums disguised as members of IPOB stormed a government-owned school in Imo State and dispersed students writing their WAEC examination.

The hoodlums burnt the motorcycles of teachers and ensured the examination did not hold.

The leadership of IPOB in quick response denied knowing anything relating to the attack.

They warned that perpetrators of these Monday sit at home enforcements should desist from the act or face the weight of the freedom fighters.

Emma Powerful, the person in charge of the IPOB’s media and publicity warned that enforcers of Monday sit at home should desist from such acts or their ears will be chopped off.

I am happy you said it yourself that we cancelled the Monday sit-at-home. We said it in the beginning, but we stopped it. We have told people to stop sitting at home on Mondays. Anyone doing anything to the contrary, forcing people to sit-at-home on Mondays, or doing anything to them because they are not sitting at home on Mondays, if IPOB gets such people, no matter who the person is, we will cut off his ears. IPOB is not a clan meeting, it is a revolutionary movement fighting for the Republic of Biafra.
