Have you heard of the newest messenger that has broken the internet?
Supfrica is that messenger app. It is the platform that has come to dispossess whatsapp of its strong hold in the social media world.
According to the developers of Supfrica, it is a freeware, cross-platform messaging and Voice over IP (VoIP) service owned by Techfrica.
It allows users to send text messages and voice messages, make voice and video calls, and share images, documents, user locations, and other media.
Supfrica client application runs on mobile devices as long as the user’s mobile device remains connected to the internet.

Just like WhatsApp, the service requires users to provide a standard cellular mobile number for registering with the service.
Techfrica also noted that Supfrica is created for the African Market for users in Africa to connect with Africans abroad.
Message your friends and family for free. To use the app you will need an Internet connection to send messages so you can avoid SMS fees.
Groups to keep in touch
Keep in touch with the groups of people that matter the most, like your family or coworkers. With group chats, you can share messages, photos, and videos with up to 256 people at once. You can also name your group, mute or customize notifications, and more.
With voice calls, you can talk to your friends and family for free*, even if they’re in another country. And with free* video calls, you can have face-to-face conversations for when voice or text just isn’t enough. Messenger voice and video calls use your phone’s Internet connection, instead of your cell plan’s voice minutes, so you don’t have to worry about expensive calling charges.

That is to say, Supfrica is two times faster than whatsapp.
This is a welcome development from Africa. More of these is needed.
