Kenosha Shooting: Trump's latest reaction

 The president of the United States of America Donald Trump has given an update concerning the shootings at Kenosha Wisconsin.

According to Trump in his social media update, he said;

"If I didn’t INSIST on having the National Guard activate and go into Kenosha, Wisconsin, there would be no Kenosha right now. Also, there would have been great death and injury."

The president also thanked the law enforcement agencies and the National Guard for their response.

"I want to thank Law Enforcement and the National Guard. I will see you on Tuesday!"

What led to the shooting?

According to wsj

"On Friday, the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the agency charged with investigating the shooting, said officers attempted to arrest Mr. Blake after a woman called police and said her boyfriend was present and not supposed to be on the premises".

"After Kenosha Police Officer Rusten Sheskey unsuccessfully used a stun gun to try to stop Mr. Blake, a second officer, Vincent Arenas, used his stun gun as well on Mr. Blake".

"Sheskey was the only officer who fired his weapon, the department said. Mr. Blake admitted after the shooting to having a knife in his possession", investigators said.
